Cleansing never looked so delicious…

Hands up those of you who have ever embarked on a cleanse? Okay, we can’t see you – but if you’re anything like us here at HQ (aka health and wellness obsessed with an I’ll try anything once kinda’ attitude) most of your hands will be up right now. Hands up again those of you who have embarked on a cleanse that has left you hungry, moody and lacking some serious energy? We’ve all been there… but forget everything you thought you knew about cleansing, because we’ve got a 3-day program that promises to do anything but! No liquid diets, no cutting food groups, no feeling deprived… just a careful curation of real whole foods that will flood your body with the nutrients it needs to feel its most fabulous. Because we can’t contain our excitement, we’ve decided to leak one of our favourite recipes from our 3-day cleanse, to prove you don’t need to feel hungry and deprived while embarking on a cleanse. 



Prep time: 10 minutes

Cook time: 15 minutes

Serves: 1

You will need:

For the salad:

    • 1 portion of salmon
    • 2 tablespoons chickpea (tinned ok)
    • 1 small beetroot grated 
    • 1 carrot grated 
    • 1 handful baby spinach Roughly chopped
    • 1 Radish finely shaved
    • 1 tbsp. sauerkraut 
    • 1 tsp. Sesame seeds
    • 1 tsp. pepitas
    • Optional: mixed sprouts and lime

For the dressing

    • 1 tsp. miso (shiro “white rice” miso is a lovely light salty flavour)
    • 1 tsp. tahini 1cm of grated ginger
    • 1 tsp. maple syrup or honey
    • ¼ cup water

Let’s make it:

Pan-fry salmon to liking. Combine all salad ingredients in bowl and toss through dressing. To make dressing: Mix all ingredients.
