Lemon and Ginger Tea
Coming from an Irish and English heritage, I was raised believing that a good cup of tea could fix anything … and my family weren’t far wrong!
This simple Lemon and Ginger Tea is the perfect winter warmer. With immune boosting, cold fighting, tummy calming properties, it’s the perfect 3pm pick me up!
Serves 4
Ingredients
- Juice 2 lemons
- 2 teaspoons Manuka honey
- 2 thumbs ginger, sliced
- 1 cup filtered water
Method
- Simmer all ingredients in small saucepan for 5 minutes.
- Pour 1/4 of lemon tea into mug and add 1 cup of boiling water.
- Add extra honey and lemon slices to serve.
- Keeps refrigerated for 1 week.
