This humble member of the brassica family (cauliflower, kale, broccoli) is chock-full of fibre, antioxidants and Vitamins A, C and K, which work to fight inflammation, boost brain function, lower cholesterol and reduce the risk of some chronic diseases like osteoporosis and even some cancers.
While naturally bitter in taste, a little bit of lemon, ginger, apple and coconut water really helps the medicine go down… and delightfully at that! So the next time your stress levels start to soar, don’t reach for another coffee. All you need to do is stop, chop and blend!

- ½ cup purple cabbage
- 2 green apples
- Juice of a lemon
- 1 orange
- 250 mls maple water or coconut water
- Slice of ginger
How to make it
- Place all ingredients in high speed blender and blend until smooth.
