One of my favourite ways to start the day, spirulina makes it into may of my smoothie bowls. This blue-green algae is extremely nutritious* and acts as a powerful antioxidant.
*Spirulina is extremely nutrient dense, with high levels of; protein, iron, calcium, magnesium, zinc, selenium, Vitamins A, B, C, D & E, Omega 3’s and Gamma Linolenic Acid (GLA’s) to name just a few!
If you’re not ready to try it alone, peppermint covers up the taste perfectly!
