With only 4 days to go until Active Nation Day 2017 on September 24, we are counting down to another amazing day!
Here are our top tips on preparing for and making the most of the big day:
Now is the time to assemble your Sunday Sweat Squad.
If it isn’t already, book Sunday 24 September out in your calendar and invite your favourite people.
Active Nation Day is a day to have fun and who better to share it with than people who make you happy and you love spending time with? Think of who you usually share Sunday brunch with, hit bootcamp with, family, friends and anyone who is ready to put their wellness first.
Get as many people involved as you can!
2. Plan your move
Head here to check out what events are in your area and sign up.
Nothing nearby or want to do something a little different? That’s cool. Create your own event and share! Scope out walking trails, pump up your bike tyres or arrange a group class. So many choices.
3. Fit Kit
Lay out your favourite active outfit ready to jump into bright and early Sunday morning! Consider what moves you will be making (medium or high impact) and if you will be heading somewhere else with your crew afterwards.
If you are outdoors, don’t forget your sunscreen.
4. Get Appy!
When you use your Lorna Jane App on Active Nation Day you can donate your individual sweat session to the Movement! It is also your daily Active Living companion, tracking your moves as well as being chock full of inspiration and delicious recipes.
PS Using your LJ App to track your moves on the day might also unlock a super secret badge… just sayin’.
Don’t forget to keep yourself hydrated and nourished through the day. Whip up some snacks to boost your energy or refuel in-between sessions, and don’t forget to top up your water.
6. Move Moments That Matter
Share the day! We are a global community and love to see how people are celebrating all around the world.
Follow us @lornajaneactive for inspiration, offers, updates and to keep in the loop of all things Active Living.
Don’t forget to sign our petition to have Active Nation Day recognised on the calendar. We want to raise awareness of the importance of Active Living and we take our mission for a healthier world seriously. Join us in creating a fitter future here.
