Summer you have met your match! It’s time to cool down with our Summer Smoothie Bowl.
Otherwise known as a fruit salad in a bowl, this fruity mixture is perfect to take you from the searing inferno that is an Australian Summer, to a cool, calm and collected tropical getaway.
We love this smoothie bowl as a post workout cool down, or weekend pick-me up!
Using mango and lychees as our base, we love garnishing with whatever fruit is in season, and our favourtie granola.
SUMMER SMOOTHIE BOWL
Preparation time: 5 minutes
- 1 large mango
- 6 lychees, peeled and deseeded
- 1 medium banana (chopped, frozen)
- Mixed fresh fruit
Cut up half a mango into chunks, and place this in the blender with the frozen banana. Add in 3 of the lychees and blend in blender until smooth. Once smooth, pour into a bowl and top with assorted fresh fruit, remaining mango and lychees and granola of your choice. Eat immediately.
We love to keep these ingredients on hand in the freezer as a go-to post workout cool off and refresh
Add a scoop of your favourite protein powder for an extra protein boost
Add 200ml of your favourite milk to the blended mixture to make a smoothie
