Featuring a line-up of your usual banana smoothie suspects (let’s be honest, who doesn’t love the simple and pure genius that is a classic banana smoothie), it is complete with an epic hit of espresso. 

You know that dreaded morning conundrum of choosing whether to go a morning coffee or a smoothie, well we are pretty sure we’ve solved this issue for you, for life….

Here’s what you’ll need:

These are the base ingredients. We have added a few more ingredient options in the list below. All methods work – trust us we’ve tried the lot. Add a sprinkle of cacao nibs if you like a little bit of crunch with your smoothies.

Our Signature Espresso Banana Smoothie

Preparation Time: 5 minutes
Total Time: 5 minutes
Servings: Serves 1

Ingredients:
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1 cup of almond mylk (or mil of choice)
  • 2 tbsp. oats
  • 1 tbsp. peanut butter
  • A shot of espresso (you can add more if you like it stronger)
  • 1 cup of ice
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1 tsp. chia seeds
  • 1 tsp. honey
  • 1 tsp. cacao nibs (to sprinkle on top)
How to make it:
  • Add all of the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
