We do hope that one shouldn’t need 1,000,000 reasons to blend, pummel and sip on a mocktail; they are warranted at any ol’ time in our eyes. But today we have a very special reason…

So sweet thing, in light of this landmark day, let’s celebrate with a sweet line up of mocktail recipes as seen in The MNB Girls Guide To The Festive Season!
Do you like Pina Coladas & getting caught in the rain?
Virgin Pina Colada
Serves, 4 Prep Time 5 mins
What you’ll need:
- 500ml pineapple juice (fresh is best)
- 200ml coconut cream
- 2 ripe bananas
- Juice from 1 lime
- 1 cup of ice
- Lime wedges, to serve
Add all ingredients to a blender. Divide among four glasses and serve immediately with extra ice cubes and lime wedges.
This is a BERRY BERRY good Mojito…
Berry Mojito
Serves, 2 Prep Time 5 mins
What you’ll need:
- 100g strawberries
- 12 mint leaves
- 2 ripe bananas
- Juice from 1 lime
- 1 tbsp. honey
- 1 cup of coconut water
- 2 cups of soda water
Blend all ingredients together in a blender. Add ice to serve.
Get low-carb loco!
Sangria Mocktail
Serves, 12 Prep Time 1 hr 15 mins
What you’ll need:
- 1 cup diced apple
- 1 orange, sliced
- 1 lemon, sliced
- 1 lime, sliced
- 2 cups orange juice
- 1 cup cranberry juice
- 2 inch knob of ginger, finely sliced
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 3 cups soda water
In a large mug, add the fresh fruit, juices, ginger and cinnamon sticks.
Stir well, and place in the fridge for a minimum of 1 hour.
Just before serving, mix in soda water.
Serve with ice.
* Can be made a day in advance. Cover & store in the fridge.
When life gives you lemons… make a Ginger Lemonade Mocktail!

Ginger Lemonade
Serves, 4 Prep Time 45 mins
What you’ll need:
- 1 inch knob of ginger, grated
- 1/3 cup honey
- 2 cups boiling water
- Juice of 4 lemons
- Lemon slices
- Fresh mint leaves
- 2 cups of soda water or cold water
Combine ginger and honey in a medium bowl and add the boiling water. Let steep for 30 minutes.
Strain into a jug, pressing the pulp into a strainer to extract juice.
Add the lemon juice, lemon slices, mint leaves and cold water.
Serve with ice.
* Can be made a day in advance. Cover & store in the fridge.
