Who says that all exercise has to be hard? The most important thing about a workout is effectiveness. When you finish, you want to feel good and know that you did something to get closer to your goal.
These 3 exercises can be a whole workout or be added in to be part of your routine to make a big impact on your body.
The lower you go, the harder they are. This exercise uses body weight and an unstable surface to work your core, your powerful butt and leg muscles. Your big powerful muscles control the speed and the motion while your small stabilizing muscles work hard to control your balance. This becomes a ideal exercise for cardio conditioning and all around strength gain.
Washboard abs, here we come, this killer core exercise forces your abs do be in control for both the eccentric and concentric load. Because of the slippery surface your muscles are forced to work in both directions, controlling motion as your legs extend and powering the pull, ensuring an effective core training. As a bonus, your shoulders get a workout too.
One of my favorite exercises because of the muscles engaged- core, glute, inner thigh and pelvic floor. If you leak when you jump, this one is for you! Train that pelvic floor to engage, without all the pounding and work the inner thigh at the same time. You will feel it!
