It’s no secret that Lorna Jane girls love working out, especially with our fellow fit friends by our side. Seeking the support of our sporty sisters, we called out to active women across the Golden State to help us kick off the first of our free community weekend Move classes.
Miss out on last week’s fun? Don’t you fret girl, we’ll be sweating it out in style for another 3 weeks and then some. Here’s a sneaky snapshot of some of our favorite moves from the week and some handy info on how you can get in on the action.

Saturday morning offered us perfect weather for an outdoor yoga-inspired bootcamp class with Equinox’s Meagan McCrary. Warm-up included a walk past the gorgeous Marina on our way to the park to continue the party. As soon as the mats were rolled out, the fun began! Decked out in our LJ finest, we were ready to sweat. Meagan had us power through stair-climbs, push-ups, squats, and variations of planks that we didn’t even think were possible. A wave of accomplishment came over us as the class came to an end, but we can’t wait to do it all over again next Saturday.
Lorna Jane flooded the center court of Santa Monica Place on Saturday morning, and before we knew it, we were peeling off our brightly colored layers as we sweated in a Hot 8 power fusion class with Marja. Walking away, we felt taller, leaner, more confident versions of ourselves. Now we’re motivated to kick off every weekend like this!
This class was TOUGH and we truly were “feeling the burn” on this chilly Sunday morning. As promised, Hot 8 Yoga instructor Soha brought on the intensity as we lifted, tucked, and pulsed our way to an endorphin high! The class rounded out with a well-earned stretch that got us ready to tackle our Sunday errands.
We love any chance to get movin’ with our friends at Fit Approach and although the rain spoiled the fun last weekend, we will be back on track for another amazing sesh this Sunday! This run club has already built momentum over the past few weeks and keeps growing. If you want to ask a coach about your stride, if you’re tired of the same ol’ route, or if you’re looking to pick up the pace and beat your personal best, running with this group of inspiring ladies will motivate you to get where you’re going!
The energy was high and our hearts were pumping as Mixx Yoga had us flowing between vinyasas and Pilates moves that we are sure will get us beach-ready by summer. Mixx is the perfect combination of strength and stretch so it’s a one-stop shop, allowing you plenty of time to meet your girls for a healthy Sunday brunch afterward.
